Our
Values

These 3 core values define The Bloomfield Way. These are the principles which we strive to uphold in every interaction with our residents - from greetings to assistance with core daily needs.

Kindness in Every Interaction

Kindness is a simple, but memorable gift. Our founders Helen and Lim come from the country of Cambodia, a beautiful country haunted by horrible atrocities and genocide. In this environment, simple acts of kindness like sharing a meal, were profound. Later as refugees to the US in 1980, the kindness of total strangers through simple acts like teaching a teenager to speak English, write a resume and drive a stickshift car are memories we treasure as a family 50 years later. We have lived and know the power of kindness. For that reason, it is a core value in how we interact with our residents and community.

Highly Skilled Care

Education and training are core tenets of our practice in the world of assisted living. Over nearly 20 years, our team has built hands-on experience in conjunction with advanced medical training to ensure we are prepared for each of your loved ones unique needs. We are prepared to manage natural disasters, evacuations, medical emergencies, specialized medical equipment, uncommon medical diagnoses and more. Learn more about our expertise in the 'Areas of Expertise' tab and learn more about the training and skills of our founders in the 'About' tab.

Honoring Our Elders

As a family, as a business, and as a community, we believe in honoring our elders. We treasure the opportunity to assist your loved one during this challenging chapter of life with reduced independence. We also seek to preserve dignity and independence to the greatest degree possible throughout the care of your loved one.
