Skilled Care with Kindness and Respect - from the Foundation up
Bloomfield House was custom-built in 2001 to provide the highest quality services and home environment to our residents. This dedication to quality care and services begins in the chosen location of our home. Bloomfield House is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood less than a quarter mile from our fire department and emergency medical services, and less than two miles from a Level I trauma center.

Our custom-built home was mindfully designed with features to serve residents with dementia, including an open intuitive floor plan for easy navigation, memory boxes integrated at the entrance of resident rooms to improve room identification and an intentional home-like environment to improve comfort and calm throughout the home. These elements benefit all our residents, including those without dementia.

That same intention in the construction and design of our home flows into the resident care, daily operations and management of Bloomfield House. Our core values of kindness in every interaction, highly-skilled care, and honoring our elders. We are a family-run business with decades of experience and relationships with our local healthcare professionals and services.

Our management consists of leaders with professional healthcare backgrounds in acute ICU care, surgical post-op, neurologic rehab, neurologic outpatient and outpatient orthopedic settings. Additionally, our leaders bring decades of hands-on caregiving skills with residents whether they are dependent or independent with various activities of daily living.
These high level skills continue through our strong caregiving team which has been happily serving our community for 10 years. Continuing education occurs formally on a monthly basis with daily practice and integration. This includes, but is not limited to, skillfully managing resident behaviors, integrating a caring touch into all activities that require assistance and being prepared for all emergencies.
